DPI has the capability for full color printing - or spot colors - on sheet sizes up to 11” x 17”. For short runs we offer High Volume Color and Black & White laser printing. We always carry a wide range of paper stock, and when you need something out of the norm we can special order many varieties of paper products.
Offset Printing is ideal for larger quantities, jobs
that require special stock [eg. carbonless, gloss
paper], special colors (Pantone PMS), or for jobs that
require the highest quality finish. Offset printing
uses ink (CMYK –
Cyan,
Magenta,
Yellow, and
BlacK for 4-color
and PMS ink for
spot color). We use
“Direct-to-Plate” technology (sometimes referred to as
CTP or Computer-to-plate) that allows us to send a
digital file directly to our press, and a plate is
created in just minutes. The elimination of the
difficult process of making a metal plate is the key
reason that printing color with DPI is so competitively
priced.
Laser Printing is a Toner based technology - convenient and cost effective when copies are needed of a multi-page document [eg. Employee handbooks, Instruction manuals], or low volumes of a single page document [usually less than 500 impressions].
Our Large format inkjet prints up to 42" wide and up to 10 feet long - on paper, photo paper, canvas, poster board, pressure sensitive adhesive paper, and vellum.
